Some of the images presented on our website can be characterized as conservative and others more modern or experimental. Despite any differences in style, however, a common visual language, or a common pictorial mode, is used to express the experience of the church.

All the images, with some exceptions, are designed and created directly on the painted surface without the use of auxiliary media, such as video projectors or photocopiers and harmonized – mainly the murals – with the specific architectural environment, which forces the finding of different solutions and ways of organizing the compositions.

In other words, we paint like all painters in the long history of Greek and always up-to-date Byzantine painting.

We believe that in this way, we manage, to a certain extent, to preserve, as painters, the vitality and fertility of our painting continuity and certainly, our additive function which relates to our tradition's living relationship.
